Violette begins with clean hands and applies her moisturizing spray followed by a little cream. Spread your familiar moisturizer evenly and let it settle before the makeup steps. She works without foundation in this tutorial. You can follow that approach and use concealer only where needed, rather than adding a base simply because it is part of another routine you usually do.

2. Add a little warm corrector where needed
Violette uses a coral-toned blush to offset discoloration beneath her eyes, blending the edges toward the cheeks. For home use, choose a corrector labeled for the under-eye area and a tone that suits your skin. Tap on a very small amount. The aim is to reduce the visible discoloration before concealer, so stop before the corrector becomes a thick orange layer.

3. Place concealer and let it settle briefly
Apply concealer where the under-eye area needs coverage, keeping most of it away from the lash line. Violette pauses briefly before blending, then taps the edge with a brush or finger. Keep the movement local rather than dragging product across the whole cheek. Use what remains on your finger to soften the upper boundary, where a heavy layer is more obvious.

4. Layer blush for depth and a pink flush
Violette first uses a more muted blush to add dimension, then a pink shade on the fuller part of the cheek. Blend the two lightly at their meeting point instead of stirring them into one uniform patch. Apply a thin pass of each and step back before adding more. This is the cheek color for the look, so a separate strong contour is optional.

5. Blend brown cream shadow one eye at a time
Start the soft smoky eye technique with a small amount of brown cream shadow close to the upper lash line. Blend upward promptly with a clean fingertip or brush before it sets. Add a little more at the roots for depth, then soften the outer corner. Repeat on the second eye. Violette also adds a small accent shade; you can keep only the brown when you want the simplest version.

6. Keep mascara and highlight focused
Apply more mascara at the lash roots and less at the tips, following Violette’s lighter finish. Then touch highlighter only to the small areas where you want light to catch, such as the tops of the cheeks. Avoid sweeping a large amount over the whole face. Check the skin next to the smoky eyes so it still looks fresh and lightly covered.
7. Tap on a sheer lip color and soften its edge
For a sheer matte lip look, apply a light layer of color over comfortable, hydrated lips. Violette follows the natural volume of the lips and softens the outline rather than drawing a sharply lined border. Start at the center and blend toward the edge, adding another pass only if you want more pigment. The finished lip should have a softly tinted surface that sits alongside the brown eyes without a heavy gloss layer.
