1. Brush up and find your existing shape

Start with clean tools and brush the hairs upward with a spoolie. Look at the natural outline before removing anything. Identify obvious strays below it. Canela aims for an arch, but you can keep your current shape and simply tidy around it.

2. Tweeze the clear strays

When shaping eyebrows at home, grip one clear stray near its base and pull in its direction of growth. Work below the brow first. Pause regularly and look in the mirror from farther away. Leave hairs that form the main outline if you are unsure; taking one more out is easier than replacing it.

3. Check above the brow

Brush the hairs downward so you can see any strays above the natural line. Remove only hairs that clearly sit outside the shape. Brush back up and compare both sides from a normal viewing distance before deciding whether anything else needs attention.

4. Trim only long tips

For careful eyebrow trimming, brush upward and trim only individual tips that extend well beyond the shape. Canela also brushes downward to check long ends underneath. Keep the scissors away from the eye, take tiny amounts, and skip trimming if you cannot see and control the tips clearly.

5. Treat the razor as optional

Canela finishes with a facial razor above and below the brows using short downward motions. This is an optional precision step. If you try it, follow the tool’s directions and keep it outside the brow outline, away from the eyelid. Stop after brushing the finished shape into place.
